CineMini

Cinemini is Cinema Akil's ongoing programme for young audiences, bringing early daytime weekend screenings to Alserkal Avenue. Built on the belief that a love of cinema starts early, it brings together animation and family films from around the world, some newly released, others beloved classics returning to the big screen.

The programme offers tender coming-of-age stories, adventurous journeys and quietly profound tales that speak to children without speaking down to them.

Cinemini is about introducing children, early and gently, to the wider world of storytelling: different languages, places and ways of feeling, all through the shared ritual of watching together in the dark. Families are invited to make it a weekend ritual, one film at a time.
